3D Monitor

depends on your budget fella

the asus one thats reviewd hear is apparently very good at 2d and 3d

acer make a decent one aswell,it has orange feet tho lol
 
I would wait it out, they will be outdated soon, apple is already working on a version that is much sharper and does NOT require you to wear any glasses.
 
Apple put in a patent for it but it doesn't mean it will ever come to anything. They file 1000's of patents that will never actually amount to anything.

I read somewhere that some standards agentcies have agreed that Stereoscopic will remain the main standard for 5 years or so, so that people who buy a TV now wont have it obsolete within a year. I don't know how far into that timescale we are or even if it's a true timescale but yeah, you would be safe for the time being.

I think i can say with near certainty that the patent will amount to nothing. At the end of the day Apple patent pretty much everything they think of. Added to the fact after i looked at the Apple 3d patent the tech isn't even close to the level it needs to be for Apple to integrate it. Overall though I'm not really seeing the point of 3d monitors yet I've toyed with a few and i just don't think they are worth the price increase.
