3d mark vantage crash

Hi Guys..

I built a rig with an i7-930 and a gtx 470 & @stock and have not been able to get vantage to get past jane nash i do notice it goes a bit ripply then freezes and it differentiates depending on how far it goes. I have to do a hard reset as task manager does not work.

I was thinking power supply but i then decided to clock the i7 to 4ghz and gave the gtx a 800mhz core. I was able to get 25458 '06 marks and 6215 '11 without a hitch.

What gives?

You saying Vantage goofs up for you with cpu and gpu (and memory I guess) at stock ?

my money is driver version, some just dont bench well with some tests.

check the screen shots of those with the same hardware and try their driver versions.

Hi yes at stock it will not proceed with the vantage test, and i was thinking drivers i am using the latest ones i have tried 06 & 11 over and over without a hitch.

Hi Guys it was the version of Vantage that was the issue it wasn't playing nice with the 470 i went back to version 3DMark_Vantage_v102 and worked like a charm.

3DMark_Vantage_v110 has worked fine on other setups.

can you stil validate them with orb if its an older bench version?
