3d mark 06

I thought it was a core before the r520, i remember reading up somehwere that it was based on r500 architechture.

Sorry G I must have missed what you actually said the last time I read this section - it's not a punt at your kit, I just know that its gonna happen and remember back to running 05 on my Kids 9200se card and it looks like it is a slideshow rather than an animation.

Hell 01 is still like that...

How long do you think we see the graphics from the 3dmark series in everyday games, for instance, are we seeing 3dmark03 graphics in current games?

Hehe i know, dont worry im going to post a thread of my kit finally so you can take all the punts you want at it in there, very glad i went for Nvidia and not ATI for the SM3 action, though am gonna have to change graphics card for the desired motherboard upgrade sometime over this Xmas/New Year season, but that's another thread . . . (hopefully to be coming soon if i get my lazy butt into gear :p)

I've heard (not sure there is much truth in this) but SLI 7800GTX average 11.6fps :O

My score could only be in triple figures at this rate :p

Yep 0.05 :D

Still you know - 05 was pretty gruelling for the 9800 and FX5900's scoring I think if memory serves 1800 3dmarks - so expect about the same this time round and by this time next year it'll be 10k again :O

This bench is going to be one of those evil moral killers to start with like 2k5 was but then people will start finding the tweaks to get the scores. People named Shamino lol.

On a slightly random note...why are ppl (not here) complaining about the possibility of low scores? Its meant to be a tough test!

Remember... graphics cards are for playing games. First and foremost, and the 78/ X18 are very capable of that. :D
