Well, I finally installed the 3700+ I got. I'm gonna try to get my dad to let me leave the comp on all night and day and then test my OC round 4 or 6P tomorrow. Hope it's a wizzer :D Ran stable in Prime95 for 25 minutes and ran a superpi 1m in 38s at stock, woohoo!

If it doesn't run prime stable @ stock then u have issues :) Put an OC on it and see whats up!

Well, ran low volt burn-in and gonna begin the OC in a sec

Let's see what this sucker can do!

I've seen some decent overclocks on Asus boards. You may not get the monster OC as seen on other boards but as long as your careful and do it properley I reckon you'll be ok :)

@bloodthirst: Can you say 2.9 ghz 2hrs prime stable at 290x10 on stock hsf? ;) Granted, the only reason I'm able to push so high on stock is cause it's realy really cold! But that won't matter once I get an XP-90 ;)

I'm goin to try pushing it further now :D

Well, kemp advised me to just leave things how they are until I get better cooling and I think I'm going to listen to him, so just 2.9 for me for now!

2.9 is a pretty extreme overclock well done :)

Well, actually I still need to stress the RAM, but I don't have the time just yet right now. I'm going to just have the ram at 200 till I have the time

Edit: Unstressed Pi time:

Nice mate! Diego's can pretty reliably hit 2.9ghz out of the box. Work on some of your RAM settings a bit and you should be able to break 30s SP1M without a problem.

i love my 3700 but urs must be hating u at 126 degrees unless u have the asus premium my one of them get shit hot lol

in that case its prob the chipset

No, those 126's are nothing, as kemp said, prolly jus unregistered temps, CPU temp is the first, second is mobo temp, dunno what all the others are though...

They are errors with speed fan - its a known error seems to happen with asus mobo's

i get it aswell its just a bogus reading..
