360 on PC

Hey can someone answer this asap for me.

I've got an elite 360 wireless controller with the chargepack and the charging lead so USB connectivity. How can I get this to work on Windows XP 32bit SP3. I've tried some drivers, none of them find it, and tried the pinnacle profile thing.

Anybody with an answer would be highly valued 4 evas!

Doesnt work dude, its fixed cable only or you have to buy the wireless usb adaptor for PC.

Thanks for the answer man, might have to go get wireless adapter . I was trying for damn ages because some guy said he's done the same lol

The wireless is about 15/20quid. just buy a wired one used from a game shop for £5 simples.

I tried using the wless controller on my pc aswell a while ago but no succes

It's a bit confusing, but give this thread a read:

There are some on there who say they got it to work, blah blah, but I don't see too much detail as to how.

I have also heard of people not being able to get the wired 360 controller working, when all the experience I've had is - just plug it in and away u go, every time.

Think some confusion may be coming up with some people on XP and some on Vista/7 tho.

yeah there shouldnt be a problem with the wired one ive had mines workin without a hitch on xp, vista and 7
