2nd 6850/6870 or 7870

looking to upgrade my system here and considering a graphics upgrade.

the thing is i'm gaming at triple 1080p and was stuck between selling this gpu and going for a new on, or sticking with this 6850 and buying a second one.

also considering that the 7870 has twice the vram, what is my best option?

If those are strictly your only two options you would be better off with the 7870, where the 2GB of VRAM will be very useful for a triple monitor setup. On games like BF3, you may need more VRAM to run high/ultra settings with AA, FXAA, etc on.

Yup more screens / higher resolutions = need more VRAM
