2900PRO 1GB can be flashed to XT

For £234 you can now buy from Overclockers the 1GB DDR4 2900Pro.

The above thread shows some lucky guy getting his with XT BIOS already installed.

Clocks look better than XT at present and using the XT BIOS from the same manufacturuer as the card allows you to XT your Pro.

Price is great for such a large amount of texture ram anyway and with that extra value of its overclcoking capabilites and flashing to XT means this is the card to buy right now for high end performance on a reasonable budget.

The more cautious should also be aware that next gen gpu's from AMD and Nvidia are (probably) going to be released before Christmas 2007.

Some one on OcUK got a Sapphire Pro and said his has an XT Bios.

Im awaiting a reply from Nick to see if all the ones he has have the XT Bios. Going to see if I can get a couple aswell.

Will be very interested in this, as i know there are know bioses or flash tools available yet for the likes of us for the 2900 cards.

Got a price of $520 USD for a pair.

Can get a 2900 XT official bios and overclocked ones that cards can be successfully flashed too if they cards didnt have the XT BIOS

Getting myself 2 512mb ones. Both flashed with an overclocked XT BIOS.

Was going to get four but the only board I could have got right now for quad Crossfire would have been AMD based.

Ive enquired about two more for a freind but he doesnt seem to want them any more, so if he says that he has two more available just send me a PM if you are interested. (sorry if thats against the rules or anything)

Bargintastic price aswell considering they are basically 2900 XTs and for the price im getting two of them for compared to the UK price of an XT its basically buy one get one free.

Really want to get some decent cooling for them because the fan may get quite annoying so im waiting for a reply from Coolit Systems about their Reference 2900 Liquid Cooling System.

i got a couple of the Sapphire 2900 Pro 1024MB GDDR4 just got them up and running flashed them to xt bios runing on vista 64 this was a first run of 3d mark 06 very pleased with the early resaults



got it all running on a DFI LP UT P35-T2R with 2 gig of cellshock ddr2
