27" Monitor on a Budget Help!

Hey guys,

Need a little advice on some 27" monitors and which ones I should get. However, I am working on a budget and as well I tend to flow around the bigger brands like Samsung and Asus due to the fact I feel confident I could probably get support from them if anything goes wrong.

My budget is around £250-£350(MAX).

I was looking at the Asus VE278Q and the Samsung S27A550H.

Do you guys think these are good choices for monitors?

Also, is there any monitors within my budget which are Ergonomic? Cos I'd love to have a monitor that can be raised and lowered (not just tiltable). I thought that the Samsung (above) would be a good choice in terms of screen height as I will actually be sitting the monitor right next to my 32" Samsung HDTV (not running from my PC) however the limitation with the Samsung is that there is no DVI port. I also looked at the Asus VG278H only because it was a 27" Ergonomic monitor, however, its way outside my budget and I don't see a point in getting a 3D monitor if i'm not gonna use the 3D.

So any help would be great.

Thanks

Cookie.
