It's not ips and it really doesn't look that nice but for £70 surely I would be an idiot to say no?

Ummm - really up to you
I think I'd rather spend the extra and get the IPS. If you got the cheaper one, I think you'll possibly regret it a little, whereas you'll be happy you spent the extra money on the IPS
