2011 help new build

im looking into getting a 2011 rig. not sure as to what is the better cpu. ivy vs sandy. i like the asus R4BE. so now its down to eather the 3930k or 4930k will be overclocking,gaming,uploading to youtube. and would like to hear from someone who has had one or both. thank's

Well the difference really isn't much at all tbh. I don't have either but the other guys on here will probably tell you the same thing. Just go for the cheaper one imo.

I have got both

The IB-E is slightly more efficient.

The SB-E is a slightly better overclocker.

End result is about the same.

For future proofing the IB-E has the edge in extreme situations like running 4 GPUs.

You could wait for Haswell-E which will be with us soon and think about an X99 system.
