Just to mention, you may end up getting some backlight bleed on that monitor too. It's pretty well known that most (if not all) 22" screens have at least some along the top and bottom
The Dell 2007WFP came through yesterday but didn't post it up as I couldn't be bothered.
It has practically no backlight bleed (only veryvery very slight), great response time, no dead pixels and looks great. I should have gone with a Dell in the first place
You have the 207? That's got a TN panel afaik. This one...umm...hasn't, not sure on the details but the 2007WFP has a better panel afaik
Have to say tho "gaming" mode looks utter poo, puts a while sheen over the screen which looks awful. Stick it on "entertainment" mode and it looks bright and vibrant with deep rich colours. Didn't need speakers in the end as I have the Dell soundbar which fits the 2007.
@WC re the 22": Should have known when it had a Samsung "A" panel on it, but het we all learn. Remember the Dell cost £65 more than the Daewoo and is 2" less (not that that was ever an issue).
Oh and thanks to Trippledance who mentioned synergy - it pwns
Yeah, the way I understood it, in very very simple terms (technicalities out the window), if u wanted it for gaming get the 207, if u wanted it for professional stuff including gfx/movie/edit etc get the 2007.
Hasn`t the 2007.. how can I say, like comparing a normal laptop screen with one of those beasts with a glassed finish and more resiliance ?
daewoo is perceived as a cheap product, but they use quality parts. (i haven't seen the monitor so i truly don't know on picture quality, i have a marketing class and where talking about Daewoo and Hyundai)
It's silver and it's a Dell Soundbar - basically 2 speakers you can attach to a Dell TFT that gets their power from the monitor. Pretty decent sound quality considering the size and does me for my spare PC
