2.1 Speakers recommendations?

Hello all,

Just want some opinions regarding 2.1 speakers systems. Been watching TTL videos on youtube on the Corsair SP2500s and know there are tons of positive reviews. But in some of his videos, he has a set of Edifiers S530s. I was just wondering which one would you guys recommend or if anyone has experience with them (specifically the S530s). I am looking to spend £200 max (as the Edifiers I can purchase for £200) so if anyone can offer me their opinion or even other 2.1 systems, that would be much appreciated.

What are they going to be used for? Purely gaming/Movies or music too? Corsairs will be better for games and movies but wont accurately reproduce music, in that case the edifiers would be better. The edifiers have a more neutral (accurate) sound and so cant produce the heavy rumbly bass that the corsairs can ( good for bringing games/movies to life ).

They will be used mostly for music and movies and every so often gaming. I've heard some people say theres a lack of mids on the Edifiers. Don't know whether it is due to the amount of burn in time they have but quite a lot of people have said it. Is there any other recommendations?

I too have been trying to decide between speakers and have heard the amazing reviews of the Corsair SP2500 but then I have also been considering the Microlab Solo7c. Simply I am stuck, no idea which to choose...These will be for music mostly. Can anyone offer any recommendations, or any alternatives to these two...?

I recommend checking out the Logitech Z623 THX 2.1 system. Good for the money
