Hey everybody, am now looking to venture into the realm of water cooling and wondered whether a 140mm radiator would be sufficient enough to cool just a cpu? Also if anybody could point towards an etailer which sells them i would be forever greatful.

Already have an xspc pump / res combo. Just need to buy coolant, hose, barbs, cpu block and obviously a radiator lol

p.s This is for the back of the case and shall be in push pull config

Special tech have all you need just google them.

If you get a good radiator and you are not looking for high overclocks, a 140mm rad should be sufficient to keep your temps within reason. If you go with one of the thicker radiators(55mm or more) it will most likely be more than sufficient and give you good temps on a CPU loop.

Before you order a radiator, make sure to measure the area where you will be mounting it to make sure there is enough space. Made that mistake once, can be costly.

Have seen a phobya 75mm thick radiator for £44. Also looking at some slim line scythe140mm fans to go with it. Have plenty of clearance.
