1200w watercooled PSU!

As much as I'd like to just start bashing it for being a Koolance product, it actually looks pretty darn nice...

We need one for review! 1400w peak is sweetness. Not really all that bad of a price tag for the output and cooling system all considered.

I would imagine they have taken some pretty strong safety precautions to make sure it won't leak internally. I would imagine it's a one piece metal cooling line inside brazed or welded the whole way and then pressure tested to ensure no leaks occur.

......wow

I wouldn't mind seeing a PSU manufacturer make a unit with all that stuff contained and the modular plug on the underside. Either way a review of that would be sweet as.

I think my favorite part about this unit is that it has a self-contained waterloop and doesn't require the purchaser to already have a pre-existing watercooled setup to use it. It appeals to the likes of someone such as myself :)

I wonder if they filled it with that non conductive fluid in case it does leak... I think it is pretty innovative. Get one in and see how it does!

Even if they did I'm pretty sure it would not work with that level of power. For a start it could get energized enough for the water in it to turn to steam and that = big bang. Also that level of power would surely evoke a capacitance effect. So I'm guessing they have done what frag said and brazed the lot up and pressure tested it to the max

i really want a shot of the internals on this baddy. would be interesting to see how well they implemented the water or if its a huge gimmick.

That actually look real nice

Shame that in a year or so's time we are hopefully going to be back to needing £5-700w PSU's again

The idea of watercooled PSU's has been around for a while, mind you, I wouldn't like to have one. Imagine the heat dump from that sucker in your loop...and should anything go wrong

That's the unique part about this unit, it has its own integrated loop, it doesn't go inline with a current loop.
