hey guys, i recently built a new rig, got a sweet deal on an i3-2100 asus h61 mobo and 4GB rams for £150 + included an asus silent square evo cooler (and it is way cool btw), i had a budget of £200 regardless, it left me with not a lot for a new gfxcard, i was sitting on a silent heat-pipe sapphire 3870, and i was pleased with it, didn't drop a heartbeat, anyways.
i managed to procure an msi 6790 for £50 and its pretty cool, im liking the increase in performance, but im somewhat underwhelmed. i have come into a little bit of extra cash about £130-140 and would probably like to get something in, unless im talked out of it, something that would last me probably as title says 12-15months,
im gaming @1650x1080
so that leaves me with 5 options,
1)stick with what ive got,
2)buy a 560
3)buy a 6850/70
4)go ebay and grab a gtx480
5)leave as is, but buy more ram/ssd
now i don't have a real preference of manufacturer really, but that said the last nvidia card i had was a 4600ti
beast! im just concerned that the money spent over the top of the 6790 is/will be worth it, spending £150 on the system itself was a massive leap in the cosmos from a c2d 4600
but i somehow sincerely doubt that i would see anything even 50% of that performance increase games wise.
any help. thanks in advance
