1100T overclock

Hey everyone, so i have done some mild overclocking in the past, and this current chip is far from extreme, but it is more aggressive i believe, so i just thought i would run it by everyone to see if everyone else is comfortable. The chip seems very stable in prime 95, anyways here are the details. I have not tried backing off the volts at all, nor have i tried to go higher with current volts. Im pretty happy with 4 ghz and im not sure if it will really do anything but bring higher temps if i try to go further, i mean is 4.2 really much better than 4.0? I think i may notice a difference over stock as the 1100T does seem to bottleneck my GPU at times, but im not sure if its worth it to go for more than 4.0.

1100t @ 4ghz

251x16

1.47 v

1600mhz gskill

990FX sabertooth

NH-D14

PSU - XFX XXX PRO 750w silver 80 Plus

Visontek HD 6950

Temps

43C under full load 30 mins prime95

19c degrees idle

Night time winter santa cruz temps. Im sure it will be 5 to ten degrees higher when its summer and daytime.

MHz don't really equal temps it does only if adding vcore that's where the temps come from I'd say try higher at current vcore and see what ya get.

Okay im still stress testing until swtor instals, but ill up the clock after.

Okay so i tried booting into 4.33333ghz and it booted but crashed while running prime

i checked my volts and they were set to 1.43 even though CPUZ said it was pulling 1.476.

So i upped the volts to 1.475 in bios and set the FSB to 260 x 16 (4.2ghz) and now its stable, but CPUZ says its pulling 1.52v, is that an issue?

Temps are now hovering around 46 degrees c. AFter 45 minutes they are now at 49 degrees.

My north bridge is set to 2600, should i increase its volts too?

EDIT: ACtually proved to be unstable after 30 mins of prime 95. So i backed down on the NB and the FSB to 252 for a 4.0 GHZ overclock.

Checking for stability but any help on the above setup would be nice.

all honesty 4.3 was all i was able to push from my 1090T look at the cpu validation in my sig. 290fsb 8 15 multi at 1.476 vcore. the change in set in bios vcore and what it boots at is normal.

Well i am pretty happy with 4.0, it boosted my skyrim fps a bunch, for some reasokn that game is uber CPU intensive.

Is thermal radar more or less accurate than Core tmep? because TR gives me 9 degrees C higher temps than Core temp. For instance TR says my cpu is at 62 degrees while my core temp claims its at a mere 53, this is after 25 mins of prime. The noctua barely feels warm to the touch. There is warm air pushing out the back of the case, but its not too hot.

I have heard bad things about AMD's temperature monitoring systems though. This is with an NH_D14 at 1.475 volts (1.524 cpu-z).

Im staring at it right now and it says 64 vs 54 for thermal radar versus core temp.

A quick update,

At 4.0 GHZ my CPU was eating up major volts to be stable, but at 3.9 i was able to back down to 1.43 ish with much better temps.
