The purpose of this thread is to offer a bounty of 1,200,000 (1.2 Million) Dogecoins for a Physical Dogecoin design. The bounty will be split like this;
1st place - 1,000,000 (1 Million) Dogecoins + a first Minted Proof of the winning design (unfunded). 2nd Place - 50,000 (50 Thousand) Dogecoins 3rd Place - 50,000 (50 Thousand) Dogecoins 4th Place - 50,000 (50 Thousand) Dogecoins 5th Place - 50,000 (50 Thousand) Dogecoins
We did a community based competition like this on litecointalk for our 1LTC & 25 LTC coin designs and were very happy with the results. It’s very important to us that our coin designs come right from within the heart of the communities that drive the currency.
If you are interested in claiming the bounty simply post your design right here on this forum post. Please be sure to watermark any designs you post with your copyright.
We will select what we believe to be the top 5 designs submitted to this thread and then post those 5 designs to a further thread and let the community vote for the design they like best. The winner will receive the 1 Million Dogecoin bounty and a first minted prototype of the coin. The 4 runners up will receive 50 thousand Dogecoins each for their efforts.
To give you some ideas about the coin...
Firstly the coin will be a limited edition of 500, minted in 2 troy ounce of .999 silver. The size of the coin will be around 50mm. The DOGE value of the coin will be 1 Million Dogecoins. You will need to leave space on the back of the coin for a 37mm hologram. You can also customize the packaging for the coin if you choose to do so. We can supply it in anything from a solid wooden box to a solid metal one.
We can also gold plate parts of the coin or even the entire coin if that’s what your design specifies. In terms of what is on the coin that is entirely up to you.
