Just wondering if it would be worth me grabbing some 1/2" tubing and barbs too replace my 8/11 tubing.

Is it really worth it?

Probably not tbh.

If you re-build your rig then maybe consider it, but I wouldn't say that you'd see any benefits by changing, so imo its not worth the effort.

What about the XSPC tubing i'm using? the ID is actually 3/8ths, rather than 3/8"s from the middles of the walls

And for those who cba reading the results are:

6.35mm quick fit = 50.11C

8mm barbed = 49.74C

8mm quick fit = 49.31

9.6mm barbed = 49.25C

9.6mm quick fit = 49.04C

11.1mm barbed = 49.01C

12.7mm barbed = 49.00C

i have to say tho.....im glad 8mm ID has no more than 1c difference compare to maaaaahooosive 1/2'' ID.....

i started 14months ago on water......and started with 8/10 hose.......

not that i care much :O)

i went from the default innovatek tiny stuff to 1/2" and saw quite a few more than 1 degree C difference :S but i guess it depends on hardware used :S

it will benefit (temp wise) if you crunch on everything thou, ex: good pump, 120.3 or larger/multiple, an up to date block, good air flow etc. then again real world performance i would highly doubt you would see any.
