Two years later, and Sony's PlayStation 5 still lacks its advertised 8K support

It says 8K on the box, but it isn't a supported feature.

It's simple; the amount of people who have 8K displays is very minute and not enough of them have piped up about the PS5 not operating at 8K. If there's no noise, ASA don't care; they won't go back on something they've already approved without being pushed to do so.
