Pretty cool feature tbh. Bonus that it saves them money and in turn consumers too.

This is pretty cool. Part of me hopes that this becomes an industry standard and aftermarket gpu fans becomes a thing.

Wouldn't a switch to change the color of the lifhr lights of the RGB for the fans be cheaper for them and us? And then the replacement fans might just be 10£ instead?

No that would add more costs. This way that it's being done now, they don't have to provide as much support which saves money and time. With adding aftermarket fans people can get replacements faster and pay the same amount as if they shipped it directly to XFX. Faster turnaround for both parties and you can save money for both parties, since not all consumers want LEDs, this saves money for a feature they may not want. Those who want it can pay for it. It probably wouldn't costs them anymore as if there was a switch

I still think this is a gimmick and it's not really going to go anywhere.
