Beige is good for retro builds :)

My Q6600 has also an ATC201 and the asus dvd drive in that build is silver and the dvd writer had the coolermaster cdrom front kit so it is aluminium. So that build is completly silver

looks sweet man .gotta love that retro look .i only just gave away my ati 9600 to my uncle a few weeks ago funny thing is its still as good today as it was all those years ago and it outlasted the 3870x2 i gave him for his other pc only 3 years ago .just go,s to show they dont make em like they use to

The ultimate year 2000 build is allmost done! Only the Voodoo5 need te be installed! First installing all the drivers and test the 2 soundcards and front units. :)

First installing all the drivers

I have to admit: That is the one thing I would not be looking forward to if doing a retro build.
Drivers back then were a PITA (at least many of those I had to battle with), plus I no longer
have any clue how to troubleshoot that old hardware. :headscratch:

Although I suppose it can be done, otherwise our computers back then would never have run
in the first place (come think of it: did they actually?)

Anyway, :dribble: for that Voodoo5.

The ultimate year2000 gaming build is complete!

pretty filled up chassis!

:D

An EXCEPTIONALLY tidy build you have there !
The Cooler master Praetorian was not the easiest case for cable management.
I still have mine, fully loaded and running. I use it to store all my music.
Once again, well done on the build :D
