I ordered a graphics card off of ebuyer for a budget rig.. Said it would be here before 12:30, sure enough 12:30 came and no graphics card.

I ring up and they said its attempted delivery and its been 'carded'.. Lying little git of a driver couldnt be arsed..

Well wound up now, ive waited in all bloomin morning lol.

I HATE it when couriers do that. Phone them back and ask them to contact the driver and tell you what colour your front door was. He may go the safe route and guess white (if u have white), but it'll more than likely cr@p him up a bit.

If he can't guess correctly tell them that the contents are extremely important for a business trip you are going on tomorrow and you don't believe he attempted to deliver.

Also threaten to contact eBuyer to complain about the delivery companies rubbish service & lies. eBuyer have a very close relationship with Citylink from what I've seen and if eBuyer say jump, Citylink often do.

Worth a shot ;)

Down in Portsmouth it was a normal thing to see a postie walking around with a stack of red slips.

I also caught one quietly putting a card through my letterbox. He nearly shat himself when i opened the door on him. I saw another literally running around the corner after posting a card at my house.

ffs i didnt even get the fookin card

Citylink suck. I ordered a 8pin extension off Microdirect with next day shipping via Royal Mail, when RM came with other packages and it wasn't there I phoned Microdirect saying why it wasn't there and they said It was coming via City link, 10 mins later there here. Not really a nag about they didnt come to my door but when they did it was wrapped in about 20 layers of bubble wrap and the package was about 5x bigger than the actual cable.

Wasting the environment!

My mate ordered a motherboard and stick of ram from ebuyer then phoned back to have it delivered at my house, but some how the girl on the phone managed to cancel the order so after about 30 min on the phone it was re ordered and they even threw in free next day delivery - result. Gets better tho, come delivery day, I recieved the ram and motherboard, only for my mate to phone me telling me that he too had recieved these items. Cool thing is that he only got charged for one order !!!

Nice, but you should keep the money handy in case they realise the mistake. I think you have to wait 6 months before it's legally yours.

I've just had 3 days of TNT knocking very quietly. Even my sister - who can hear a mouse fart next door - didn't hear the guy yesterday. Thankfully I was out in the garden this morning when the came.
