Definitely go for a credit note, then a different set. Of course that will take you down the "well we've sent it now lol kthxbye" road, but the customer is always right.

tested found on of the sticks not to post. we do not have stock. The memory will have to go back to suppliers for repair/replacement. this process can take up to 28 working days from date of issue. kk

Hmm pretty much describes what I'd do in such a situation ^^. Jim's credit option sounds fairly good, should get you some better RAM with those dropping prices.

To be honest I hate contacting them by email - I got a text from Scan saying that my order failed and I rung them and they were very helpful actually. I'm surprised at your email.

I really think you should get some new, I thought mine was fault and I was about to return it then I realised it had dropped in price by £1 since the day before...
