I'm going to be tweaking a few things over the next few days to try and get a near instant page load for us all. Also (on FF at least) I've noticed if you make it your homepage it seems to create a hard cache of the page so that it springs up instantly.

The tech shopping isn't nearly as useful considering that there's no price sorting and Newegg is usually the first up anyways.

I'll probably write up a Greasemonkey or Stylish script to change the background color of the search results later on but so far, I'm loving the concept =D
Yeah the Shopping function could undoubtedly be improved. At the time of designing the site it was a toss-up between file searching and shopping. Maybe the former may have been more useful.

Hey guys, one thing I need to point out as it has been asked, is all we do is give google a list of sites to narrow down a search if you use the tech forums/articles option.

The way the search items are displayed (ie who comes top) is in the normal google SEO style, it in no way bumps OC3D to the top. Also we have all of OC3D competitors listed in the search items too so its in no way what so ever weighted towards us.

We really do see this as a viable alternative to google, because it auto sets to s standard google seach, yet has the option for you to be able to drastically narrow down the search results if you are looking for something tech related.

It is still a WIP but with your help we can make this much better for everyone.

Great work, this is my new homepage. I'll add feedback and comments after I've used it a little more, but sounds right up my street (and probably most members of this community)!
