Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Well, storage redundancy is a good reason if you set up RAID. :) Though I much prefer something on top of Linux+LVM, for instance.

It hath arrived, Equipped with Samsung memory too, Not too shabby :)

Pretty impressed by the performance jump going from the 1080 Ti, Acoustics and temps are pretty damn good too, Average clocks and temps after 2 hours of gaming with zero overclock.

Got this a couple of weeks back and I'm blown away at the spec and price it's just a bargain for the screen. OK there is no Free sync or G Sync but still 1440p @ 144Hz for under £300 and it's a wide curved Samsung. 100% happy with my screen.

It's the 32" Samasung CJG50

Cable for said SSD. They're £30 ffs. Thankfully the seller had one and bunged it in for £15.

Another nerd first for an old man today, my first Freesync panel (last one on stock at my local store too). Asus TUF VG32V.

Cost me $600CDN, and it's a very nice companion to my OCed Radeon VII. Sure makes a good first impression. It's a VA panel, so colors are deep and lush. 31.5" wide, no RGB puke, 144mhz, 2560x1440, 1ms. Now I just need to find something to push the frame rates. No Mans Sky seems to be hard locked at 60fps (I set a 144fps cap in the game), but it looks prettier than ever. The color depth just annihilates the AOC 35" 100hz Gsync panel I was using before, and since that one wasn't "Gstink compatible", playing No Mans Sky was actually gross. This is smooth as butter. Me likey!

The AOC is also a VA panel? Just lower refresh rate but 3440x1440 as the only difference isn't it?

I guess just a higher-quality monitor with a wider color gamut.

The AOC is an MVA panel, not sure of the differences. The TUF one looks MUCH better for colors, but it's also driven by an AMD GPU, where my main rig is 1080TIs, and the colors are much more dull. But AMD GPUs have always looked better than Nvidia for color defaults, so take that with a grain of salt. Might not have much to do with the screen.

Replacement phone since my last one developed battery issues so switched back to sony and pretty happy with it so far :)

XA1 Ultra it's a nice screen very good contrast but it's a solid mid range phone got it in black rather than the glamour shot gold :P
