I'm tempted to build myself a NAS myself too, now that I have 10Gb at home, but I have no idea how to do it properly.
I'm just having trouble justifying it to myself.Craft computing has a Freenas setup guide on YT. It's really easy.
Cost me $600CDN, and it's a very nice companion to my OCed Radeon VII. Sure makes a good first impression. It's a VA panel, so colors are deep and lush. 31.5" wide, no RGB puke, 144mhz, 2560x1440, 1ms. Now I just need to find something to push the frame rates. No Mans Sky seems to be hard locked at 60fps (I set a 144fps cap in the game), but it looks prettier than ever. The color depth just annihilates the AOC 35" 100hz Gsync panel I was using before, and since that one wasn't "Gstink compatible", playing No Mans Sky was actually gross. This is smooth as butter. Me likey!
The AOC is an MVA panel, not sure of the differences. The TUF one looks MUCH better for colors, but it's also driven by an AMD GPU, where my main rig is 1080TIs, and the colors are much more dull. But AMD GPUs have always looked better than Nvidia for color defaults, so take that with a grain of salt. Might not have much to do with the screen. The AOC is also a VA panel? Just lower refresh rate but 3440x1440 as the only difference isn't it?
I guess just a higher-quality monitor with a wider color gamut.
Stole the idea from Roccat! I had one of those about 7 years ago. great little tool
Razer Bungee V2, Only 20 quid and actually makes a nice difference.
Cable management assist for headphones I'm guessing? What the heck is this for?
