Color Scheme and Cable kit
I'm currently planning my next build and have ordered most of my components. I'm basically doing a Mini-ITX build into a Corsair 250D Mini-ITX case. I've ordered and received a Corsair RM750 fully Modular PSU.
Now the Theme I've decided to go with is a Red/Black Theme. I have an MSI Mini-ITX motherboard and it is Red/Black but mostly black so this is basically how I decided on the color scheme. The Memory is red and I'm just wondering on a couple of things.
The case comes with 2 stock corsair fans which from my research are pretty decent but they are Grey. So I'm wondering if its worth sticking with the fans or finding black or red fans instead.
Also the Corsair power supply cables are black and just have a black plastic coating, you know the very basic that they ship with. I'm wanting opinions on whether or not I should stick with the black stock rubbery cables it came with or buy Corsair Black sleved cable kit or a Corsair black Red cable kit
Opinions would be very much appreciated, will probably post a build log when I get round to it

If it's mostly black, why not try accenting your build with some red cables? I'm not familiar with your case, but if there's a window, throw in some red led strips. Those will help show off the black, and the red will really "pop". As far as fans go, black fans with red accents like the corsair af or sp series would look nice.

Don't use red LED's mate, they make everything look washed out, go for white, as far as cables go for the kit from Corsair, or Silverstone do some nice black and red extensions, but you might be stuck for space, in the 250D

ALWAYS white LED's if you have colour in the case - if you put red led's in with red accents the LED's would just bleed out all of the colour

Ahh thanks for the advice guys. And Tom / Paulstung I never thought about that.
I decided to go with the Red cables and Red accented fans although for the front intake fan I've gone for an LED fan, but still may change my mind about that one depending.
I'm not using extensions because I'd struggle for room and the stock cables really are too stiff to work with properly. As Corsair cables for the RM750 are out of stock I had some custom made and am awaiting delivery. It worked out around the same cost for the cable I needed.
