Gigabyte GTX780 Treasure Hunt

I'm just saying let people find clues by them selves. If everyone would repeat all the hints to help everyone else in every comment there's less chance to win for everyone. Call me selfish idk :lol:

In case you haven't realised, the white thing under his name saying "Webmaster" means he can basically say what he likes mate

In any case, if a thicko like me can find it, I'm pretty sure anyone can by this point.

lol if you don't clarify sometimes people just ask, n ask, n ask. The stuff that has been clear as day 100% been said I don't mind posting but that's where the line is drawn

Lol that's an interesting point of view

The closing date needs some clarification.

The post says : "Competition ends Sunday 30th September 2013 at 23:59 GMT."

But the 30th September is a Monday.

So does it end on the Sunday 29th or Monday 30th? :D

I'm going to take a guess at Sunday 29th at 11.59pm

I never claimed that he couldn't.

Hey Tom, I've sent you a PM with a doubt, have you seen it?
And no guys, not asking for help because I already found the image.. lol

:)

Finaly found it after many many hours of searching over many days lol.
I made it hard for myself by not reading the hints, i like a challenge :D

Great way for entering the competion Tom, i think all competitions should be like this and take some work to enter.

I only stumbled apon a couple reviews/articles i wanted to read(old ones), though tbh i keep track of this site regularly anyway so didnt expect to stumble across much through this search :)

Sti la great hiding place i must say :) Good job.

Good luck to everyone who is still searching, and Good luck to all those who have entered for the final draw.

I'm not even going to grace that with a response.

Then why did you? Are you 10? I never said what he could say and not. Fact. I expressed my opinion about whether or not its a good idea help others with the hints, and mentioned that it's easier to win if there are less people who actually find the picture. You're acting like I basically "told" him what to do. And I don't like it when people put words in my mouth... Last words you'll get from me in this comp.

No dude! Each and everyone of us has only one chance and it doesn't matter how many we are, only the probability decreases but it also spreads evenly so that we all get the same "chace" to win, no one gets more or less better probability. Having "less chance" is only valid in multiple draws or multiple entries scenarios.

In the end, you're selfish over nothing...

So 1/10 chance is exactly the same as 1/1000 chance? I think you need to think about it some more. ^_^ But whatever floats your brick I guess.

It's not 1 in 10 chances, it's a common misnomer among math and logic illiterates. It's 1 chance out of 1 draw. There are no 10 draws out of which you might have a 1 chance of winning.

And 1/10 is the probability which everyone has, evenly... so you're no richer than anybody else if you have 1/10 or 1/1000. In either case, everybody has the same chance to win and the same to lose.

Chance is defined as the probability of something happening

As more possible outcomes become available, any given outcome's chance of occurrence (or probability) lessens

LOL @ "whatever floats your brick"

Wow! Your math skills are unmatched... :yelrotflmao:

Not sure if serious...

Wow... Really? How is that even...

What are they teaching in schools nowadays and why hasn't anything been done to fix it???

Edit: If you mean that everybody has one chance and one chance only to get the entry right, then yes you are correct. But "chance" as defined by the context in which it has been used in this thread means the probability of winning. 1/10 probability (chance) does NOT equal 1/1000...

Please, if you're in school, stay in school and pay more attention.

I'm not sure what I'm reading but lets make this clear, I'm 100% sure that everyone has 1/(how many people entered) to win, if it was a 1/1 chance then everyone would win.....

the more people enter, the smaller the fraction becomes and so the less chance you have to win!
