I went for a drive on a beautiful 18C day, with the intention of buying a breakfast wrap and a coffee. Came back with that, and a new case, Fractal Design Define 7, in white with tempered glass:

Cool, I'd be interested in hearing your hot spot results with card. The only block I could find for my VII was an Ek Vector, and it kinda sucks, like most EK blocks.

Used to play the original way back when. Thought it was about time to play the remake of it. Loving it so far. Missed the stupid/bad jokes

I already did the washer mod to increase mounting pressure on the die and hotspot is down to 92c from 112c @stock & undervolted i'm around 88c after a 45minute session in F1 2019. This is with fans @100%.

Will let you know how the block temps are when I manage to get it installed, im looking to redo the build in black soft tubing, not sure which size to go though..

Ok, after test fitting some rads in the Define 7, I declare that case to be a solid "meh" leaning towards "crap", and it's getting replaced by a case actually designed with proper water cooling in mind. I already have a TR rig in the same case, but I'll be building him a baby brother:
