Upgrading to Kaby lake

I'm looking forward to upgrade to this Kaby lake generation.
I currently own a system with a haswell 4570 in it.
Been looking through the line-up from different manufacturers and
I saw this interesting bundle from Biostar.

A Z270 motherboard ( I think it's their high end one ) bundled with
a 256Gb Intel 600p m.2 SSD.

Sold at $328 for the bundle. The SSD alone costs $100 and the remaining
goes to the board.
I think it's a fair deal since I will be having their top of the line
Z270 and a free m.2 SSD.

Your suggestions will be highly considered.

At that price the SSD was never free. MSI do stuff like this too, trust me you are paying for it.

Nice looking board though :)

Assuming you are in the US because you are using $ and becuase Newegg is running this deal.

For the motherboard, it alone costs $328. So yes the bundle is worth it.
Is the board worth that money is another question.

For that board price you can probably get cheaper better alternatives. Biostar aren't exactly a top brand. If you can find trustworthy and legit reviews and you come out liking it(mostly the BIOS) then get it. If for any reason you have doubt, then not worth it.

I use newegg's prices as a reference because it is the closest srp when the product was finally sold in our country. Most kaby lake board models from different brands is still not available here.

I also had Z-boards from asus and gigabyte back in the sandy and ivy era, yes they are great and expensive, of course.

I just want to ask if the bundle is reasonable enough because I am also new to M.2 as well. Thanks for your inputs.
