THOR ZONE's MJOLNIR case shatters Kickstarter goals

Great. another hobbyist project where the only realistic chance you'll ever have of being able to actually get hold of one is to pay into the kickstarter.

...because they'll never be any in stock for regualr punters, you can guarantee it.

The same can be said for a lot of niche Kickstarter projects. MITX isn't that popular of a form factor. There is a reason why most boards are full ATX.

It still needs a lot of refinement. They have made it too small. It needs to be 10-20% bigger. You just can't put 10 liters of components into a 9 liter case. I don't doubt they are extremely talented guys. But if you wanna design a case you need someone in your team that has actually built a computer before he started working on this project.

I want it for the simple reason I'm a huge Thor fan... But it doesn't look that great. Especially compared to the Ncase M1 V6.

Well... you can. The Dan A4 SFX case, it’s *only* 7.2L in volume and can still pack the most powerful of mainstream systems - with ease.

Been working on the cad for my own sff case. The priority being full custom loop watercooling. It can fit 2x280mm rads and comes in at just shy of 20L.
