K800i + louder?

Anyone modded/got any tricks for making the k800i phone louder. The MP3 playback is quiet!

Yes, use headphones and don't subject everyone in the room to horrible, tinny sound quality lol

Other than firmware update or some way of gaining access to lower level settings your best bet would be to mod the headphone cable to power a pair of small speakers instead of earphones

go to the equaliser and jack it up there --- just exercise caution u may cause clipping

OR

Get the W-series headphone adaptor and use a low impedance set of ear bugs (like the loud + good value MDR21eps)

I dont really use the headphones and i'm not one of those chavs sitting there listening to p00r music

I'm more of a variety person but im sick to death of peep's phone wiping the floor with mine lol

I flashed my firmware to k810i, put better camera drivers and also put on the soundpack from the w880

All you need is your usb cable and a few files. There are loads of soundpacks aswell. Some amplify everything and others have better bass etc. Depends on how you want it I guess.

There's loads of customizing stuff aswell like changing the icons, startup logo etc.
