I got this on PS2 because I'm a big gta fan. The game was some what disappointing, but the graphics and performance sucked like an N64. It should play much better on PC of course. Hopefully the MTA team will pull their shit together and deliver a...
I've found that css is much better at time wasting than any other game I've played. Maybe it's because you have to do so much time wasting in that game anyway like waiting for next match and that mobile stealth camping crap.
I just reinstalled this game to play it through again since it's fuckin awesome. When I first played it I had some kind of onboard audio, fx 5200, and 2800+. It ran perfectly on medium+ settings. With my x800, AC97 audio, windows sp2, and winchester, it runs like fucking shit. I have to lower...
sucks ass at ocing. i can only get about 5 mhz memory and 10 mhz core. css runs pretty decently cause it has an efficient engine, but everything else is under 20 fps. i was hoping to try the chaos theory demo, gets about .3 fps on medium.
I bought a new samsung 80gb 7200rpm 2mb buffer IDE HDD recently. I was expecting to get roughly the same performance as my WD 160GB 7200rpm 8mb buffer IDE HDD. For some reason the performance seems really crappy. Things seem to lag out all over when I'm doing stuff. I don't get a 5 second boot...
1T is better than 2T, but with the ram I've used, I can make up for performance loss with a 5 mhz bump in speed. Seems better to go with 2T than lower timings on ram.
My ram is rated for higher voltages that I need to oc any more than what I've gotten to. My board only goes up to whimpy 2.85V in bios. I'm gonna need some windows tool or something to get the voltage higher.
People seem to have problems with this board: agp lock, memory, serial ata
This is a pretty good board for the price, these are just some things I've learned:
- if you have sata hdd and plan on ocing, do not buy this
- check to see if your ram was tested for the board before you get it

The x800 cards overclock really well. On stock 1.5V, I've gotten a pro to 550/570 and ran 3dmark successfully. Wasn't stable though so I'll probably raise the voltage when I do more stuff with it.
