RTX 5060 Ti 8GB (16GB wasted for f@h) It's replacing my old 2060 Super which is a parttime card anyway.
So the 5060 Ti will become my main card with the 4060 Ti as backup for when i've been on a long shift and need to top up the pts.
I'm never bored, I'm just never excited with anything i buy or do anymore (its an age thing / not giving a flying F*** anymore lol)
Regarding the Team pts, For what members we have we still manage to knock out some respectable numbers & because i wasn't bored but not excited in any way i bought...
Every bit helps mate 👍
Power wise, Do you run your card at 100%? I’ve found limiting the power down to 65% helps with the bills + less stress on the card and has minimal loss on PPD.
I know the cost of electricity will be the main reason for some (UK folders) but i'm sticking with it.
Another would be...If they can't actually see any results from their folding efforts (actual medical breakthroughs) other than daily pts updates then most will be MEH why bother? Which seems...
Anyone running V8? https://foldingathome.org/foldinghome-v8-client-guide/?lng=en
Personally I've only just come across it but it seems like its been out awhile
I'm somewhat tempted to try it but 'Rocking the Boat' springs to mind.
I only installed 7.6.8 yesterday & now 7.6.9 is out.

You can now select either Covid-19 or High Priority under Cause Preference, whether this makes it easier to get wu's is anyones guess.
GTX 1080 ppd
Found a thread some GTX1080 folding info
Looking good, but the card is wayyy out of my price range so its either the 1070 or 1060 for me :p
New card incoming to replace the 750Ti so expect some numbers within the next few days.
It SHOULD produce PPD just above the 660Ti (760) but with a 60w less power draw, mind you saying that on Core 21 the 950 should cream the 660Ti as it seems to be dragging it's heels somewhat on those...time...
Its not been folding very long but here's a quick PPD comparison...
960 folding a 9411 currently sitting around 143k
660 Ti sits around 105k
750 Ti around 60k
660 was only just above the 750 Ti
So a nice upgrade over the 660 :p
I've been scanning every site i know of (and alot i didn't) since it was 1st reviewed for folding results but no one has posted any actual PPD, i don't know whether that's because no one has bothered trying to fold on it yet or folding doesn't work on it yet? its in the gpu.txt file so it...
