Zip tie PSU fan blades

So my Golden Green modular 1000w has a noisy fan, when putting a screwdriver between the blades and power on PC there is no noise.

So now what is the best way to have a new fan and not void warranty?

My plan:

1. I'm considering putting zip ties on the fan blade to make sure it can't rotate.

2a. Either get a 140mm fan, remove the 4 PSU fan screw buy extra long screws and screw the lower noise fan externaly attached to the old fan from outside.

2b. Option 2 is to get a 120mm fan and just zip tie it to the PSU fan grill.

My concerns

1. Obviously heat, I would need a decent fan which can keep the PSU cool.

Something like a Gentle Typhoon would do the job I imagine.

Also I will watercool CPU + GPU's so no big PC heat is dumped on the PSU.

I would probably think about selling it too and getting a different PSU. It is not worth the hassle just to sort the fan out.

Me selling and buying the AX1200 costs me 1700sek(260usd).

I can't really afford spending 260usd extra when zipties do the work free

Edit--> It's not really alot of work on getting the fan to work?!

If you want to, try replacing the fan. PSUs don't generate a lot of heat that's why many run passively. It will only cost you 1p to try a zip tie and a few pound to replace the fan.

I might downgrade to 2 GPU's and a AX750.

Or I could use the HAF 932 with 2 smaller low nosie PSU's.

I have 2 PC's and 4 PSU's atm, HX650, TX650, AX750 and the noisy 1000w.

My goal was to have the AX750 in one PC and have the 1000w in the other selling the 650w's.

Now I might end up puttin 2 PSU's in my HAF 932 as I know they are low noise PSU's and sell the 1000w.

Sounds like a plan. I would agree.

Something like this, actually the load on each PSU should be rather low making them spin at low rpm.

My main worrying is coilwhine from PSU or GPU, as this case is not noise isolation as my Fractal R2 case.

CPU, MOBO, FANS, SSD and 7950 on HX650 should be 300w or maybe 440w if OC

7970 + 7950 on AX750 should be 360w or maybe 500w if OC.
