Not into music production software or any real time software related to that but it could also be the case of slow and/or bad optimization for Ryzen with those platforms.

I find production software for professionals to move very slowly in terms of optimization. Adobe was infamous for this. Not sure how they are now anymore though.

I think Adobe is still struggling to update its software to better fit Zen's accomplishments.
