Hi Guys

I have been following TTL overclocking guide for 1155 but I have some settings that are slightly different on my z87 mb.

To mess around last night I put cpu clock ratio to 43 and left everything on auto except from vcore which I set to 1.2V. Its stable between 1.2-1.21v for 20minutes then I went to bed 1.95 was only stable for 18minutes :(. But I have no problem to up this if needed when I give a longer test.

I cannot find the command rate for my memory so I have just put timings in and set this to 1. My XMP profile gets the timings wrong but puts this to 2. But ive read that it doesn't really make much difference from 1-2 for oc.

The setting which are different are

I don't have Vcore loadline calibration I have VRIN loadline calibration so I have put this to auto as it looks like auto is putting to extreme anyway.

On my CPU core voltage control I have settings which the 1155 doesn't seem to have :l

I have CPU VRIM external override 1.8v at auto
CPU VCore I set to 1.2v
I have CPU Vcore offset greyed out when I set CPU Vcore voltage.
I have CPU graphics voltage but left this on auto (turned into gpu off)
CPU Ring Voltage left it on auto
ThenCPU systems agent voltage auto
CPU I/O analog voltages auto
CPU I/0 digital voltage auto

Advanced core settings
I Have c3 state support disabled
C6+C7 state Support disabled
^ he has only one of these but these are just sleep mode states for powersaving?
CPU thermal monitor enabled (as my max temps are 53c so it wouldn't bottle anyway).

So some settings there are different but i think i have made the right choices?

My two screenshots of my auto 4.3ghz 1.2v and my manual 4.3 1.2v all settings changed following the 1155 guide i have info missing off occt.

I am just wondering if all my settings are correct before i give it a long stress test. I am also wondering why my occt sensor info is less with the manual settings inplace +12v is missing and GT has changed to GT offset?

Thanks

I would get rid of all autos and set all values manually, especially vrin and ring voltages. less things on auto means more strict voltages which will give more stability, you may fail to post few times but thats because auto was adjusting that. just keep trying. Also you might want to look at the bsod messages, most of the time they can tell you if you need more or less voltage, you can look up codes on google.

Ty for replays guys what do you think I should set for vrin and ring voltages because I don't understand what they are for at all :S. Turbo on auto is fine because pentium doesn't have turbo boost or do you mean something else?? Anyone know if a mod can move this to CPU overclocking as I put this is wrong section.

Thanks
