This is a good thing, I like the new quality smoothness of 60FPS. Will this work in the standard Chrome on iOS though or is it just the Youtube app?...

Ok so this is good, im pleased!

So next how about the concentrate on not killing the quality on uploads, it annoys me how much they compress stuff!

I'm thinking it's just the YouTube app. The mobile version of Chrome doesn't have an option to change the quality (at least on Android)

Yeah it does, hit the 3 dots top right, hit the cog for quality, and bam.. 1440p :)

Also! 3D surround videos are a thing on mobile, they're very cool

This is fantastic, finally. :D

Now to the people that said 30FPS is more than enough, look at this @ 30FPS, then 60FPS. Now then, imagine 120FPS or 144fps, this is why we get those monitors. :)

That's not near the difference from 30 to 60 though. Not everybody has anything over 60 and tbh anything higher isn't worth it due to bandwidth issues. Going to be buffering for a long time.

I meant in gameplay, not youtube videos and yes, it does make that big a difference.

They way you worded was in reference to YT, and no the differences from 30 to 60 is a much bigger difference than it is from 120 to 144, which is true... Which is why I said that previously.

No, I didn't talk about YouTube specifically, although, I didn't say it wasn't either. I guess it will be up to how someone would like to interpret it. In any case, it doesn't really matter if it is YouTube or in-game, 120 / 140fps is way better than 60 will ever be, regardless if it is in a game or other video media, period.

I am only trying to convey, that the people that have always said there is no discernible difference between 30fps and 60fps, now have some reference, they will be able see how much better 60fps is from 30fps and if they are ever fortunate enough to experience 120+fps, what a major treat it is. ;)

I hope this post clears the matter up a little better as I posted in haste with my previous ones that left things open for interpretation.
