Nice nice, i have some titles that came in bundles i wont ever want to see again.

Edit: Word of warning, games that came in the big publisher packs cannot be removed unless you want to remove the entire pack.

The majority of my Steam library hasn't been touched so I don't know for certain if I have any turds in there. Nevertheless, this will be useful when I inevitably encounter a game I can't stand.

Sounds like a very bad idea just think if someone get's on your account and delete's all your stuff.
I should just be allowed to sell games i own not delete them forever.

First thing I thought of as well. I would've preferred a 'hiding' option I think, that way you'll still own them.

Having the option to sell your old games, valve wouldn't allow that. I do however think the ability to gift your old games to friends is a good idea.

You can already do that, if you rightclick on a game and then set catagories, in that window there is an option to hide it.

Ah fair enough, never spotted that!

Do hope there are going to be security measures though, for instance that you can't remove games if your password has changed in the last 14 days or you get a 7 day period to un-delete it.

Yeah this needs to be done, in typical valve style, they implement something without considering security risks and counters to abuse.

Thats not realy there call, i own these games that makes them my property valve shouldn't have any say in what i do with them has long as i am not infringing on copyright by copying them.
Valve is a store not my mother.

Ya this is a smarter way to do it incase someone hacks into your account.

am i the only one who does not see the benefit of this?
i can uninstall the game so it takes no space on my pc, and if i want to play it later i can just reinstall it..
Where is the benefit of permanently deleting it so i can never change my mind about playing it again?

My thoughts exactly, also once it's uninstalled go to library and select installed and everything not installed is hidden

This is how my game library is setup normally. I really don't see any benefit in this at all. It only opens up for the possibility of someone hacking into your account to be a massive dipstick.
