Xtreme Music X-Fi + Front Panel Linkage

Helloooo all.

Notsolong ago i bought myself an Xtreme Music X-Fi card, and yesterday, after a bit of Googling and asking around, i tried to hook up the front panel to the card.

Now i found out that attatching the panel pins to the "Proprietry Connector" would sort me out, however, my case pins were far too long to even make contact with these jumpers..

here's what i'm talkin' about, near the back panel.

Has anyone else ever come across this? Are there any adapters or anything i can buy?

I'm relatively ill-equipped at the moment, student flat with buggar all for tools in it, y'know..? So DIY is a bit of a no-no at the mo-mo.

There are cables available you've just got to look very hard I was searching for the same thing a while back bust gave up as I now use an amp for my headphones.

hehe got 2 laying on the desk in front of me for HP DC series.

They`re kinda half the job tho, cos u need the hp connector on the case to plug into it, incorporating the standard hp onboard connector.
