Xsplit problems

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the right place on the forum but it looked like the best shot.

I've just started streaming on Twitch and use Xsplit Gamecaster. As I have a Youtube channel as well I've set Xsplit up to automatically save a copy to my HDD. My problem is that my voice is recording but there is no in game sound. There is in the stream (until today's stream) just not the recording.

I've posted on the Xsplit forum but to no avail and wondered whether any of you guys had had similar issues and knew how to fix it.

Thanks in advance

It seems it has something to do with Xplit's Codec, specifically their Speex codec which is enforced for the free version of the program.

Honestly, if you just want to stream without to many scenes and stuff but want to keep using a free program, start using Open Broadcaster, it is quite basic but good enough for gaming.

Xsplit paid is a nice program, their free one with all the limitations, not so much.

I have done, they started to help but they haven't gotten back to me since Tuesday morning. If I hadn't paid for a license then I would check out some other streaming software but as I have I kinda want to get it fixed.

I don't know if this will make sense to any of you but I unplugged my headphones from my soundcard and into the headphone port on my speakers and now there is in game sound as well as my voice.

The guy from Xsplit got back to me again and told me to turn GX mode off on my soundcard (I don't know what GX mode does and didn't even know it was on). I plugged my headphones back into my soundcard and tested it with GX mode off and it recorded both my voice and the in game sound.
