Just a real n00b question here.. but, on the pump, which connection is the "inlet" and which is the "outlet"?

Water is pumped out of the top mate. Don't worry I'm pretty sure most of us have asked ourselves that at some time or another ;)

Welcome to OC3D mate :hello:

DW my first time watercooling I almost managed to have a 5foot fountain out of my PC! :p

I'll look forward to the pics :)

I shudda kept quiet back then and asked you to video it when you powered it on :p

Oooh pretty, a UV blue fountain :p

LoL :D

Would have been a UV Green fountain. Hopefully I will get it right the first time round. Knowing my luck, I will flood the house :)

Right.. next issue.. the pump is leaking, when switched off. When its running, its fine.. any ideas? I was thinking fishtank sealant, which can be applied to wet areas and provide a seal.

Silly question, but have you checked that all the barbs are tightened fully?

Personally i'd return a faulty pump rather than trying to fix it. It can be very hard to get a permanently seal over a leaking component.

This is the funny bit... the leak isnt coming from the barbs, its coming from the plate the barb is screwed into.

I think i might drain it tonight, and refit it, and check the o-ring is ok. I had this issue on one of my paintball airtanks. I know its not quite the same.
