I'm thinking this would really only be of maximum benefit to those ppl with 90 degree roated layouts, like Silverstone, so you can get the full enjoyment out of looking at this beauty

yeh could look quite good in like a raven case, even though they arent the easiest to watercool.

I'm quite surprised they aren't including a backplate with the block for that reason.

Perhaps since the 690 is limited as it is, potential profit from a waterblock was low so they skimped out on a backplate.

Who knows.

XSPC GPU blocks normally look cack, but this doesn't look too bad, shame about the tacky LEDs... oh and the fact it weighs 1.3kgs!

see some agrees with the tacky leds, tbh i find all coloured case lighting to be very very tacky. At that weight surely a backplate is needed?
