Hello! I am currently in the process of getting all the parts needed for mye next rig. But I just can't choose between Xigmatek Elysium and the Cooler Master Storm Trooper. I am open for any suggestions even if it involves my rig.

The things I am looking for in a case: Air flow, 'get what you pay for', quality, cable management, nice aesthetics, full tower, preferably silent. And when the 7970 drops in price I will do crossfire.

PS: I have read some place that the internal usb 3.0 connector does not exist in the Xigma? Is it true?

the elysium would be overkill for this build

defiantly overkill if ur using the gene z board a micro atx board in a case designed for a dual processor board lol. Actually you can get better mid cases with good airflow as well. But I understand wanting a full tower. Also why the matx version why not get the big boy and show it off lol. I understand the price diff between the 2 is big, but if it were mine I'd want a full atx board with the extra features.

Yeah with a case of that stature you should be going with a atx board. If the prices are similar you should definitely consider the Asus z68 v or v pro. On the case you should be fine with either of them but I'd definitely reccomend the storm trooper.

If you haven't already gone for the D-Link card, based on past experience with D-Link kit, I'd look for something else or use homeplugs instead. Devolo make very good quality homeplugs.

Hmm! Any suggestions for another board that is just as good or better that the Maximus board I choosed but for about the same price? Reason for not choosing the big boy: Could then have just gone with the Gigabyte G1 pluss; I am on a kind of a budget. It's abount 2780 dollars or 15 000 Norwegian Currency.

This is just my setup, nothing is bought yet. I sold my last rig with that card it was great. Not the best drivers but OK. Any suggestions for a card?

If you've had a good experience then go for it. Its just all the D-Link kit I've ever had has either died or the driver support has been woeful.

Well, I can't say it was that good. But I guess it was all O.K. Too expensive for the quality you get. Loved the strength of the signal and the speed it was delivering but, still not worth the price.

As I said, this is just in my experience. Personally, I won't buy D-Link kit.(full stop).

Hehe! Yes yes! I will go with the Bigfoot Networks Killer 2100. Just go with ethernet. Much better than wifi for gaming.

Thank you for sharing your experience with D-link cards.
