I have flashed my Galaxy cards tot eh XFX extreme settings -yes it does work, but I doubt you'll achieve a higher overclock than you currently enjoy.

Better off with a fully modded Nvidia BIOS that helps pump up 2d speeds too or just leaving alone ans using rivatuner to get your best overclock.

If you actually measure the voltage with a multimeter though it doesn't change with voltmodded bioses. They won't help you.

If you are going to play with the Vcore, it is always best to do the hard mod IMO.

Good advice - especially for the card in question where the bios mod doesn't actually do anything.

The BIOS MOD will give you 1.4v in 2d, low power 3d as well as 3d.

What the BIOS mod does nt do is go above 1.4v, regardless of what you set it at.
