Ok guys I have a little bit of a problem now, I have absolutely zero idea why its happening and I need a solution.
The problem I have is that when I install any catalyst driver above 11.12 I.e. anything that starts with a 12, it makes my card crap out. If it gets any sort of high load placed on it, the card will crash and I have to restart windows. This morning I awoke to find that my little brother had no idea about this problem and he had tried to play bf3 :L now the computer won't start and it sound as if the card overheated or something but it shouldn't because I left the card at its stock clocks with the fan at 100%. The reason I say this its overheated is because the fan spins randomly whilst trying to boot, as if it thinks its hot, then cold, what I'm trying to say is the fan alternates between zero and 100% randomly. If anyone has had this problem or has any idea on how to fix it please post, it would be much appreciated.
Oh and for the record, the psu and graphics card were fine before updating the catalyst drivers. The psu is still fine but I'm not sure about the graphics card anymore :L
