Xerox Seeks Erasable Form of Paper for Copiers

A scientist working with Xerox, has come up with a process that will allow 'transient documents' to be reprinted again after 16 hours. As it stands, the technology has the potential to allow for infinite reprints on the same piece of paper, but the limit for the technology at the moment is obviously paper life. No doubt this technology has its merits (conservation etc); but in this current climate of technological change and the use of electronic media, will it become just another untapped idea?
