there is no need to put links in, to the places you are buying the components from. just put the PART 'name' down.

(eg: ASROCK H61M-ITX INTEL H61)

The processor is retail boxed and includes a heatsink and fan?

Especially if you're trying to save money why do you have another equally as bad cooler on the list?

@ Dugdiamond

Will do, links were put in to show where i was buying just incase anyone knows somewhere i can get it cheaper.

@ Jeremy1998

Yeah it is more of a modding project and the main purpose is to see if it will work. Although i will use it, i dont want to spend too much on it as a project.

@ Jamesriley94

It is more because the Akasa one is quieter and not too expensive.

Unique concept. Good luck

Unless you're storing/streaming movies from an external source you'll need a hard drive or an optical drive or both.

That 64 GB will fill up quick otherwise. HD movies can be 2GB+ per file.

@ Maximize Thanks, i think so too.

@ Grizzly May try to use a laptop optical drive with an adaptor (already got the drive). And maybe an external thumb drive for storage. I will probably mainly use it for streaming and browsing though.

if you want inspiration, look at the os-x-box on youtube

Class video. I dont think i will be doing that much on the modding side of thing (like raising the whole height and making new sides). All his stuff is really good mind.
