why would you stream to your pc, from an Xbox and then use a xbox controller?

Yeah not very smart.

Some games might not play well with a keyboard when you stream from the xbox? For example playing Madden/FIFA/NHL/etc (sports in general) wouldn't play well with a keyboard at all since you have far less control(almost nonexistent) to move your characters. Alternatively without streaming in the equation it's most useful for some games on PC that either are controller only or support it.

But then why would you stream to your PC in the first place? Why not enjoy the game on a big TV with a surround set on it if you're going to play with a controller anyway?

Until you have tried you, don't not knock it. I have been playing some campaigns streaming. It looks nice on my Dell U3011, and sound great in my cans. There is no way, I would play multiplayer this way though.

Maybe someone is using the big TV so you stream to your monitor? There's always a reason and people will do it just cause because it's "cool":p
Doesn't mean it's ideal:)
