WTF are all of the X399 Reviews.....?

Try not to worry about the negativity especially if most of it is coming from YouTube, seeing comments on there people like to have a bash for the sake of having a bash. Like you said you do whatever you can get your hands on and if most of that is Asus stuff then that's that.

It's obvious that you do other stuff, if the people who have posted the negative comments watch your other videos then they will see that. I'm sure I remember watching a video a while ago where you felt the need to explain yourself about the same issue. Sad to see it is still going on.

I would have hoped people would understand that reviewers are limited to what gear the manufacturers send them, as well as embargoes and NDAs. Also a total shame about the whole thing about only having an engineering sample for Threadripper. I should hope that AMD at least send you one of them boxes with a display Threadripper like they did to JTC

People do understand, yet their inner A hole cannot resist posting some negative comment. We are an ungrateful species these days. Even when you provide everything you can, someone will bash or complain about something they wanted to hear but did not.

Great video Tom, loved learning about stuff behind the scenes and getting to understand a bit more of what goes in to the job :) just keeping cracking on lad you're doing great!

Stoner81.

You just can't please people no matter what you do Tom, just keep doing the best you can like you always do

he made a video while he could do more testing.... or spend the time pestering asus for sending him a strix x399 to test.

there is no excuse for this unprofessional behavior....

you mean like that? :D

i really wonder where the asus strix x399 is.

it should be available in august after all i know.
i think this info even came directly from an asus website.

yesterday i wrote an email to asus and they told me they are unable to give me this info... i have to ask a retailer.

because the asus support can only answer technical after sales questions.

I really hope that was sarcasm with no meaning behind it.

of course... was it hard to spot? :)

TBH if I were to get an X399 motherboard right now I would probably buy an ASUS Prime X399-A.

That £289 price tag looks like a steal!

It also looks like it has the same basic heatsink design as the Strix and Zenith. I also like the plain aesthetic.

yep.
i bought one. great board, fair price (i paid 314 euro).

thought i would like to know how the VRM design compares to the strix.
did not see any infos yet.
