Wrong CPU clock speeds

Hi all,

I'm experiencing wrong CPU clock speeds in programs like HWiNFO, TMonitor, CPU-Z. I was testing the CPU with just one core active, with prime95, when I realized the clocks did not match my multipliers, as you can see in the following images:

I did the test with 1, 2, 3 (4 is fine) active cores and the clock values of the inactive cores were all wrong. Example with 3 cores active:

The last clock speed should be 1600MHz.

MB: MSI Z77A-G45
CPU: i7 3770

Anyone has a clue on this?

Thanks

No, OC genie is for 'K' CPU's, isn't it?

EDIT: Could the problem come from the monitoring programs, like HWiNFOMonitor and so?

Maybe somebody will pop on here that knows what programs don't interact well. I saw somebody was having issues and removed all the different software and the problems cleared up. I can't find it on Google, but it was when I was surfing I ran across it.

Well, I finally figured out what was wrong, C1E enabled was the problem, TMonitor started to work well after C1E was disabled. Here is some screen shots...

1 core active(43x):

2 core(s) active(43x):

3 core(s) active(42x):

4 core(s) active(41x):

This is very strange, programs like Argus Monitor, AIDA64, CPU-Z, HWiNFO, all give wrong core clock speed values. The only that works well is TMonitor from cpuid. Go figure!...
